A GATEWAY AFFAIR-- Dinner at Jays Sporting
Goods
The finalists in the
Name the Park Essay Contest will have their
choice of the new park name voted on by attendees.
Essays, on the importance of Clare county parks,
will be chosen from each of the following grade
levels: 4-6, 7-9, and 10-12 grades. Judging of the essays
will be done by members ‘Friends.’ The nine
finalists will receive a $25 gift certificate.
Jay's has graciously added an additional $50 to the
grand prize. So the person suggesting the park name
chosen at 'A Gateway Affair' will be awarded $100!

Clare County Parks and Recreation Commission Meetings
are held at 6:00 pm in
the Commissioners Room in the Court House.
